Andrea, this forum is indeed FEMALEfirst as, of course, it should be. It is not, however, femaleonly and therein lies the difference. A great many men (myself included) post here regularly and, so far as I am aware, there is no bar to them doing so either. My posts on this topic so far have constituted what I consider to be legitimate comment, not 'interference' between ladies or anyone else for that matter.

Furthermore I resent someone I have never met in the flesh and doesn't know me, trying to tell me what I do and don't know about. If I claim to know a bit about a subject I expect other people to do me the courtesy of letting me have the benefit of the doubt unless and until they can prove otherwise.

I paricipate in a number of _ forums of different sorts and I've always understood them to be places where experience, knowledge, and personal stories can be shared. No less importantly they're supposed to be places where _ friends can and should be made. Given your current attitude I fear there's very little likelihood of you making many friends here, unless you decide to try being a little friendlier and actually listen to what people are trying to say.

I am just saying that you cannot discuss about this topic with comrehension because you are not girl and you don't know anything about this topic, like we girls don't know some things about guys for example football, who is the best player in some league etc...

Andrea, beyond the absence of a penis and the somewhat shorter length of the urethra, the female urinary system is pretty much the same as the male. In fact the workings of the kidneys and bladder are just the same. A guy caught short in a situation where he can't pee openly (such as on a coach trip) is no better off than a female in the same predicament.. Also guys get UTI's sometimes (I've had several) just as women do and I know from experience that they're no joke.

I didn't mean to be unduly harsh in my last post but the nature of your previous message was such that it demanded a robust reply.

For the record, my interest in football, and subsequent knowledge of the subject, extends to when England are playing in the World Cup and no further I'm afraid.

I was just browsing and was not going to comment - I was just curious..But your attack on Andrea is disgusting I think judging by the above comment you are a bit up yourself mate In essence I think you are full of crap.

This is the only time I will comment on what is clearly a female only topic -because she is right only girls CAN understand what its like when they are desperate to pee. Their waterworks are different - Do you contract pelvic muscles to retain water? of course you don't anf if you do then you have some rather strange things going on inside your body.

There are many topics here that are female only and while it may be expected that us guys may read over them we should leave certain areas for girls to discuss - These are the FF equivilent of ''Girly Chats''

That was a shocking post and you owe her an apology

AussieAdam. That post wasn't intended to give offence to Andrea or anyone else, and I'm sorry if any's been taken. It was merely a statement of fact. If you read through the thread I think you'll find that Andrea's reply actually owed far less to diplomacy. However be that as it may I don't wish to argue further about it because we're unlikely to ever have a meeting of minds over this issue. I'll choose to ignore your remarks about me being 'full of crap' because it's not the sort of thing I would expect an intelligent person to say.

You shouldnt even be posting in this thread - The reason why you are full of crap is because you claim to know so much about a womens waterworks that what you dont know could fit on a stamp. That is the most ridiculous I have ever read on here

I was going to post something here - but I changed my mind.

Isn't the "edit" facility wonderful?

I got pee'd on by an ex, unintentionally though, she had a weak bladder and during sex we changed position, she climbed astride me and her attempts to mount me got her giggling, the wine didn't help, anyway the next thing I know I'm getting a golden shower ----coitus interruptus---- she was so ashamed she ran off to the bathroom, I went to reassure her that I wasn't shocked or offended, and before anyone says anything watersports isn't my bag.

She later showed me a photograph of her sitting on garden furniture with friends, she explained that she got a fit of giggles there too, and pee'd herself in front of everyone, it ran down the leg of the chair and left a golden pool on the patio. She explained that once the flood gates had opened she was powerless to stop it.

You have my sympathies, Annabell, and I agree with the others - when you have to go you have to go.

Regarding the issue of not managing to hold it, it is true that more women than men suffer from incontinence in some form and degree (although the numbers for both women and men are greatly underreported due to peoples reluctance/shyness to admit it).

Personally I am incontinent  (have been since my teens) and in the beginning I tried to manage and to reach the bathroom. However, I realized it was futile due to little bladder control (nerve damage) and started wearing protection, which I have done ever since.

And numerous are the moments and times were I have been glad to wear good protection and not had to worry about making it when it is long between public loos (and when finally finding one it is closed or incredibly filthy) or when a meeting drags on and the urge is suddenly there without warning, not to mention the long lines when going out. Even though it is also embarrassing and a challenge in my day, I have grown used to the protection and have tried to make the best out of it. To me, they are today my form of underwear.

What I am trying to say is that you should not be embarrassed - such things happen and it happens to more people than we know - it is just not talked about.

All the best,
Kathy :)

I do know how you all feel. I have quite a weak bladder so do have to wee more than most which always creates an issue if Im travelling somewhere so not near a loo. Even now if Im going out even if its just to the local shop I always sit on the loo before i go out even if i dont really need to wee as otherwise I can gaurantee getting desperate and having to squat outside. Whilst that usually means Im sat there for a few minutes to just do a few little spurts its better in the long run.

Having said that after a few drinks it can be a bit more tricky and again if ive been out i always have a wee before we leave the pub or wherever it is but more often than not usually end up having to squat somewhere on the way home. Fortunately theres a few places - Im ashamed to admit that yes I do have a couple of "weeing places" on a walk from town back to my house.

Going when you don't need to just trains you to need to go more often.

As for the walks back - black jeans!

desperate for a pee

Postby emmajane2 on Thu Aug 14, 2008 3:29 pm

it's no harder for a girl but it is more socially acceptable for a man to whip it out and pee. Wearing trousers pull them down and squat behind a car, abush or a wall and no-one will see you. Wearing a skirt or dress go without knickers then you can just stand with feet slightly apart and pee.

As for embarrassing pees, I've had a few. Some years ago i was with a friend on a bus into Manchester one evening going for a night out. we had been drinking and needed to pee. At the bus station we dashed off the bus and headed for the loos only to find them locked. I lowered my knickers a little hitched my dress up and peed outside the toilet, nothing on show apart from gallons of pee but my friend was wearing trousers she lowered them and her knickers and peed with everything on display!

And that is why I always wear skirts out in the evening
