Hi Lucy

Have you had any more trouble with the slippery paths this week?? With all the rain we've been having I've been slippy sliding on the paths especially where they are mucky with fallen leaves or mud.

How about other posters on this thread, is anyone else finding things a bit slippery in September?

Lucy23 wrote:I can sympathise with how some paths get when it rains. Most of my journey is by car with a short walk into the store from a car park. A part of the path between car park and store isn’t very well levelled and water collects there and so it gets mucky in very heavy rain. That can be slippery and the only other alternative is the grass which would be just as bad.

It’s only that bit though so It can be how some paths are laid sometimes I think. And where the water runs is where it can sometime make paths slippery. Best advice I can offer really is to be careful and walk slow. Better to get to work late but fine that slip over with all the embarrassment.

Earlier this week we were having a lot of rain yes, on the Monday round where I live we even had a few small floods in places nearby and in town in a few places.

I tried my best to avoid the flooded areas that day but Tuesday was bad on the paths. When all the floods are now gone they left the paths quite mucky and slippery yes.

But guess by the sounds of it you and lots of others have had the same problems. Guess the best thing to do is to just take it slower and be careful not to slip over. I would rather get in a bit late than get in with a wet back from slipping over.

Yes but the problem is if you are slipping so much you get stuck at the base of a slope!

How sexy are those and if they work, the perfect solution to our slippy stiletto's

Has anyone tried them? I think I'm going to!

The leaves have started falling off the trees round here making the paths on my way to work really slippery in my heels.
Has anyone else noticed that happening?

Hi,

Yeah - I have found the same thing.

One day last week it had been raining and was really slippery on my way to work.

It was a nihghtamre slipping slipping and sliding all over the place. By the time I reached the office my shoes were really mucky, and I ended up kicking them off and going just in my stockings feet all day.

Hi Katie, sounds like quite the experience!! What shoes were you wearing and what were the soles like? xx

Hi,

They were black medium-heeled lace-up shoes, with a smooth sole which probably did'nt help.

It was a relief to reach the office and be able to take my shoes off. However, I am still going to walk the same way to work, and hope it does'nt happen again.

Have you had any similar experiences?

Katie.

Hi Katie, it was me who posted the question last night, I forgot to log in!!

All of my shoes have smooth soles like the ones you slipped in and I slip and slide all over the place a lot of the time too! I drive to work normally so I don't really encounter much slipping on the way there but there is a park very nearby to where i live where I like to go. I'm always in stilettos, i totally love them and i wouldn't wear anything else, and I have had many occasions where I have been in the park slipping and slithering in my slippy shoes on grass, wet pathways and of course, leaves!

Is it just that pair that you slip in or are your other shoes slippery as well?

Hi SexyShoes,

Most of my shoes have a smooth sole, and I walk along a path which is often muddy on my way to the office. As a result I am often having problems slidding all over the palce and getting my shoes muddy on the way to work.

What experiences have you had, and do you ever have problems on your journey to work, - I guess maybe not as you say you drive.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Katie.

Hi Katie

It sounds like you have quite the experience on your way to work! :)

Like you say I drive to work now but I did walk to work when I was at my previous job and I do remember lots of times when I had trouble slipping and sliding all over the place in my smooth-soled high heels on wet concrete, mud, wet leaves and even snow and ice which was a lot of fun! Have you ever worn your heels in the snow?

Often times, my shoes would get a little muddy so I would always make a point of quickly wiping them down when I got to work so that they were nice and shiny for the rest of the day!

Maybe we could share experiences via email? My email address is littlemisssexishoes@yahoo.co.uk, I'd love to hear from you! :)

Hello sexy shoes,

I'm a guy and find it fascinating watching you ladies struggle on precarious surfaces in impossible spikes. You look so hot tottering along, scraping and grinding the concrete as you somehow walk.

I found myeslf very excitied the other evening whilst out in Spain. I was coming out of the apartment when I heard the unmistakable sound of stilettos. As I came onto the main street, I saw in front of me, a blonde bit of serious totty. She was wearing a suit jacket, white pencil skirt and some of the highest spikes I've ever seen in public. I think maybe 6 inches of metal heel and no platform. Just a pump with one strap crossing her enclosed feet around the middle. My heart began racing as I watched her ass wiggle, hips shake and her pony tail bounce.
Her heels were scraping so loudly on the uneven and cracked street that I decided to follow longer than I needed...And then...impending disaster...A smooth, slippery section complete with a descending ramp. I kept my dsistance a bit to get a good view as she stopped in her tracks looking down at it, then looking at her feet (I'm guessing thinking about those stilts).
Then she went for it, holding onto the hand rail. What I saw in front that she obviously didn't (as I'm sure she would have taken her stilettos off) was that the hand rail stopped in the middle for a cross section. No sooner had she lost the support she was doomed...Click, tap, click, scrape, crunch, tap, tap. My sexy totty had tottered and tettered, slipped and fallen over. She looked around immediately and caught my eye. She looked so humiliated as I approached her (incredibly aroused I may add) and asked if she was ok. She was English, with a very sexy soft quiet southern accent. It turned out it was her first night and she was on her way to meet her friends in the restaurant.
It looked like her right stiletto had bent quite badly and her skirt was dirty. She seemed so upset with herself and got up to assess her heel damage. She started to walk but was struggling so badly I told her to take them off. After flashing me a cute smile she did, revealing really pretty, tanned feet with purple toe nails.
I called a cab for her so she could change and we arranged to meet up the next evening with mine and her friends.
The next night, what was she wearing? STILETTOS!...Open-toed this time, but no less high :) You honey's love them don't you and so do I.

I'd be interested to hear of any mishaps or near misses involving you sexy girls and your sexy spikes...Please share.

Thanks,
James

Hi Katie,

I often wear smooth soled high heels like you. Have you had a slippery walk to the office this morning like I have? What style of shoes are you wearing? Are you struggling on lots of slippy wet leaves at the moment?

Hi,

Yeah, it was pouring with rain here this morning.

On my way to work I was slidding all over the place, and the path was really muddy.

When I reached the office it was a relief to take my shoes off and just go in my tights feet all day!!

I was wearing the shoes I mentioned in an earlier post, - black lace-ups with a smooth sole. To be honest, I know this sounds really lazy, but at the momment with all this awful weather I have given up cleaning my shoes, (which I hate doing anyway!!), and have just been leaving them muddy, and taking them off in the office. I know you probably think I am a lazy cow, but it is just less hasstle.

How was your journey this morning.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Katie.
