could i be pregnant?

I know its another on sorry! but its slightly dofferent to the others.
i came off the pill 6 months ago and have been using condoms since until we decided to try for a baby, but the next day i got nervous and so got the morning after pill. Anyway, I had my period- earlier like the doctor suggested i might. Then all was well until a condom slipped off, i didn't want to take the morning after pill again so soon and thought i'd let nature take its course. my period came with no pain or PMS, but when I checked the dates it was only 3 weeks since the start of my previous period, (usually about a 30day cycle approx) and it was very very light for about 3 days (usually very predictable, starts light, heavy in middle couple of days then lightens off). this was last week and now i'm starting to get slight period type pains, in my lower back too, I don't know if this is a sign, I think it maybe me imagining things. My partner thinks there's no chance (though he'd be happy if so) because I've had a period. I just know it was very different to usual and was wondering if its worth buying a test or could it just be the morning after pill still messing my cycle up? Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!
