I dont know whether this is the right place to post this but I come to this site often and find the advice that people give helpful on some occassions quite funny, but my problem is not a funny one. I have just lost a baby after 5 months and I am devistated I have two little girls perfect and I love them dearly but this was a little boy and they dont know why I lost him. I cant stop thinking about him it has been two months now and I thought it might get a bit easier but its not in fact its the opposite, will I ever be able to get on with my life and get to live with this. They have told me if I want to I can start to plan for another child but I dont think I ever could in case it happened again. Does the pain ever go

I think the pain lessens but you never get over it, like when anyone you love dies. I have a friend whose step-mom lost a baby. She was devastated too. It was horrible, the baby actually died in her arms a few hours after he was born.

With that said...she waited a while (like 6 months to a year) and is trying to have another child now and very excited about it. She still goes to visit the little boys grave, so it isn't like she forgot...but she isn't letting it ruin her life.

You should read this book..."Embraced by the Light" by Bettie Eadie

Some of it seems odd but most of it is inspiring and makes you think differently about life and death. She is a woman that experienced two very vivid near death experiences. According to her we all come here with a purpose and we choose our parents in order learn a lesson or teach one.

So sorry to hear about your loss - I hope life is getting easier for you and you are beginning to come to terms with what has happened.
