| on the day my period was due I just 'knew' I was pregnant - I felt different somehow, I wasn't sick or experiencing tender breasts, I'm not sure how to describe it, kind of like a feeling of 'clogginess' deep within, like nothing I'd ever felt before. |

I am so old to be posting this but thought this may help.
I am quite fair skinned and when I first suspected that I may be pregnant I was looking in a mirror and could see definite pale blue lines running down from the base of my throat spreading to my breasts. |

Symptoms are:-
Sore breasts,
frequest urination (due to hormone changes)
nausea/sickness
metallic taste in your mouth,
hightened sense of smell,
constipation,
tiredness,
an increased appetite,
when you go for a wee in the morning.. it can start to change the smell of it,
late period,
a sense that you are pregnant,
change in emotions (tearful one minute, happy the next)
the symptoms are so similar to your period it can be mistaken either way, the best thing to do is do a test after your period was due. |

I just 'knew' with my daughter, i had tender breasts too, but i just knew.
With this prgnancy i hadn't got a clue. I was convinced that i would know straight away the same as i did the first time but i didn't. In fact i was so busy with work and my daughter and with it being my hubby's last year of uni it just passed me by. I only did a test in the end because i wasn't too sure when my last period had been. we had been trying for a couple of months and were thrilled the test was positive, but it seemed that as soon as i found out all the usual symptoms started, ie the sickness, tirdness, etc.
it's different for every one, and for every pregnancy too! |

With my 1st baby I had a feeling before I even had a late period.
With my daughter I could feel I was. I can't explain how I knew but I just did. |

I did too! Theres just something inside you that gives you a big smile and you know exactly why.. and when doing the test.. its never a shock! This one though I didnt feel the same.. it made so much sense after I did the test but I just couldnt work out how or why (apart from the obvious!) then I did a test... and again I knew it would be positive.. but only realised it after I started thinking.. shyte when was my last period!?????! Then that smile spread across my face and I thought...... ohhhhhhhhh! Yippee!
Funnily enough it was positive! |
