The meditation will help you, think of that that there is no hair on legs, there are no legs, there is no you, there is no world, and all will be curtailed in a point and you will feel pleasure of life.

I really don't like shaving large areas of my body either, so I have my legs waxed. It's great for about two weeks, nice and smooth. But after that hair starts to show. You also have to wait until the hair is long enough before you can go and wax, otherwise there will not be enough hair for the wax to cling to.

In fact, I went to my spa a little earlier than usual (after 4 weeks) and my therapist was a little annoyed because my hairs were a little too short!

So, waxing is fine, but you will have to wait until the hairs grow back long enough.
