| I had unprotected sex (stupid i know!) then took the morning after pill, then 5 days later i had sex again and used a condom but it split and i've had to take the morning after pill again. Will it still work for both times? I really confused and it would be great if anyone could put my mind at rest |

Yes. Although it's not recommended to be used frequently it's ok to take it more than once in one cycle and it will still be effective.
If you're worried about this happening again maybe you should look into using regular birth control as well as/instead of condoms. |

I'm not so sure. From my own experience, when I've had to use the morning after pill I was asked if I had taken it before in the same cycle, as it wouldn't be effective twice. The alternative to taking the morning after pill twice would have been the coil, which can be used in the same cycle as using the morning after pill.
Where did you get the pill from? If you are in the UK, doctors and medical professionals usually ask a series of questions to make sure you are ok to take it. So if they deemed you alright, there's nothing to worry about. You should have also got a patients info booklet with the pill that would have answered this kind of question.
If this wasn't the case, try not to freak out too much. Sometimes worrying and stressing about when your period is going to come makes it even more delayed, so try to get on with things normally and wait until your period is due. It may be delayed because of the hormonal imbalance caused by the morning after pill, so wait until 2-3 weeks after your period was due before you decide whether to do a pregnancy test. Really hoping I haven't panicked you, and it may be that I used a different type of pill to yours. I'd recommend looking in the patient info booklet, and if that doesnt answer your question, sit tight and don't worry about a thing until it happens. |

| I know with Levonelle you can definately take it more than once in a cycle but I'm not sure about any others. That's the current one available over here but I'm not sure about other places/pills |
