I have a dtr who will be 21mnths when my next is born. I need some help do I go for a tandem double buggy or a side by side one.
Can you let me know your views on either also what car will one of these fit into . I have a Hyundai Getz at the moment and can only just squeeze a single buggy in it.
Any advise would be much appreciated |

| Hello all I am in the US. Don't you guys have strollers (baby buggies) that fold up over there? Here, they have really nice ones that fold almost flat. I apologize in advanced for my ignorance on this. |

I have a side by side one. There is loads of makes and models. The best thing to do when looking is see how small they are when colapsed.
The downside to the tandem ones is it it heavy. Especially with the older one in the front. Lifting it up kerbs and what not will be hard.
The downside to side by side ones is space in shops and getting through doors. If you are to get one of these please remember to keep swapping the children over so one side isn't all worn down and the other isn't.
The best double pushchair is them 3 wheeler ones. I would of got one of them had there been any nice colours. They are about as wide as a pram and so easy to get around. They also fold fairly flat too. |

Hi, one of the happiest days of my life was when I finally got rid of my tandem double buggy. I had twins, a 13 month old, and a three year old who all used to ride on/in it but it was a nightmare especially in shops.
Have you perhaps considered a regular buggy with a buggy board on the back for your 21 month old....far less hassle. Alternatively get cheap secondhand prams and let them stand on the back...this will trash them pretty quick but if you get them cheap enough..what the heck. |

| Thanks for that I had started considering a buggy board my dtr is isnt walking yet and she is 15mnths so hopefully she will be quite stable by the summer. I am also thinking of getting a sling to use during the summer months for the baby! |
