Here's something just to keep in the back of your mind if you are going to be at or in a wedding in the near future.

Maybe this is just an urban myth but I don't think so. I will relate it to you anyway. Ladies especially might be more wary at wedding receptions of female bandits working in tandem with a male counterpart.

It seems receptions are very easy to crash as one is virtually never asked to produce an invitation to get in. Half the people at a reception don't know the other half so no one is suspicious of someone they don't know.

It then becomes very easy for a lady bandit to eventually spot and strike up a small talk conversation with a woman she targets and offer some simple requests along the lines of, "I have a special gift hidden for the bride and groom in this room down the hallway. Could you help me with it? It will just take a few seconds."

The lady leads her prey down the hallway and into a room where her male counterpart is waiting. They easily subdue the woman, rob her of jewlery and whatever is in her purse then often strip her down. this is done to mentally frazzle her into being to shaken up and ashamed to come immediately out of the room or, she may be left tied and gagged too. ONe way or another, the thieves have time to get away.

Has anyone else heard of these crimes? They are supposedly called Rip and Strips for obvious reasons. A woman is ripped off and then stripped down and left.

I LOVE IT! hopefully, the perpetrators would be the best groom, another friend from the wedding party and a stripper acquaintence of theirs.
