Just wondering if santa bought anyone a sony vaio tx laptop this xmas. Just wanted some personal reviews before i part with hard earned cash! Very Happy i am especially interested in whether the battery lasts as long as said 7 hours..ta..

Well from experience with a Sony Vaio Z600 brought in 2000 take Sonys figures for battery life and divide by three.

The batterys also cost a fortune to replace when they die which seems to happen quicker than with others I've used. No third party versions of the battery available either.

I for one wouldn't touch Sony products these days, and I used to be a great fan.

Hum,
perhaps the new fuel cell replacments coming next year, could provide 10 hours of power for portable PCs...
