i am 20 weeks pregnant and my breasts have started
leaking. its a clear liquid with a brownish colour in
it. it happened for the first time today and i was
quite embarrassed. It has made brownish marks on my
top. Is this normal or should i be worried ?
please help me |

It is normal for your breasts to leak fluid as your mammary glands mature and begin to make colostrum. It is also normal for the breasts not to leak. Leaking or not leaking have no impact on your ability to breastfeed.
i suggest you to try one of these:
Put breast pads inside your bra to absorb the moisture.
Wash off dried colostrum with warm water, soap is not necessary. |
