I'm 18 Years old and I'm about to go into labor anyday now, I have so much on my mind and I have so many problems that I cannot control. I have a serious problem with thinkin that I am depressed. I wonder is this baby blues before my baby even gets here. My child's father has left me and gotten a new girlfriend that he says looks much better than me. The reason he says he doesn't want me is because he says he is tired of me. I don't get how he could get tired of me when I did anything for him when he asked. He cheated on me 6 times and because I was pregnant I stayed with him for our child. He had more mood swings than I do and no matter what I stayed with him. Now he calls me everyday to tell me how good him and his girlfriend are doing and he tells me that he finally wants to be faithful to her. That's who he says he wants to be with but yet he calls me and tells me that he loves me and gives me cards and balloons and sends me flowers telling me that he loves me and he wants me forever. I want to be over him so bad and I tried to forget about him but I just began to sink into this depressing mood. I just didn't want to talk to anyone and I thought about hurting myself so many times. And to make it all worse I have my family on my back just telling me to give my child up for adoption. I don't hurt myself or anything like that but all I can do is cry about everything that comes to my head. I'm hurting so bad and I just want to forget about everything that he has done and is doing to me. I have noone to talk to and I need so much advice. And the crazy thing about it all is that I still want my child's father to be with me. And I know it's stupid but I just can't shake him. And I just don't know what to do. Please help me!

wow....god help you love...I think anyone would be depressed with what you've got to contend with...sounds to me like you need some TLC and someone to be with you and support you through this. Is there anyone ?
I aint talking about that so called "man," of yours. No real man would ever treat a woman like that.

There's no one but my mom. She tries but at the same time she makes me feel bad, so I just shut up about everything and keep it all in. I used to write evrything down before evrything was worse but now writing doesn't even help. I told my mother that I need help but she just says keep praying and it will change. I have been praying for all 9 months and things are just getting worse. I know God will work when he is ready and he has a plan but I just cant see why I have to go through so much at such a young age.

theres nothing saying or stopping you from having your baby and finding a new man your ex sounds like an ass find someone who loves you and who well take care of you and do anything for you

your only 18 you have alooooooooong life ahead of you and tons and tons of time to make the life you want

Good advice there Teog....lilma, you sound like a lovely girl, don't run yourself down or settle for someone you treats you badly, you have your whole life in front of you and the wonder and excitment of a new baby.
You do have an awful lot on your shoulders though.Are there any community resources you can tap into for immediate support...try looking under help, support, pregnancy, young mums in the phone book.

lilma35, how are you feeling? I had a baby when I was only 17.

That ex of yours loves to put you through emotional tourcher doesnt he? Its going ot be hard but the best thing you can do is ignore him.

Having a baby is an emotional rollercoaster for any woman! Let alone someon who is going though a break up. You deserve better than he can offer you. You do what you feel is right when it comes to your baby.

At the end of the day it is you that will be looking after it, not your family. Bring up a child is not easy, but I wouldn't say it is that hard either. The first few months are, but then you learn how ot make things easier and you become an expert
