TBH while my sig says I love really high heels and I do, I struggle to keep them on all day sometimes!!
I work in an office so I can usually get away with slipping my heels off under my desk if my feet get uncomfy. I can get away with wearing heels up to about 2.5/3inches
I sometimes see women walking around in heels of 4 inches and more that they obviously wear to work, I don't know how they manage it. Does anyone on here regularly wear heels that high? (all day?) What coping strategies do you have to deal with the discomfort??
Has anyone else had any experiences of slipping/falling while wearing high heels?
Thanks,
Louise.

I can get away with wearing heels up to about 2.5/3inches and just slipping them off when my feet get sore but I don't think I could pad around in my stockings for very long, my bosses wouldn't like it very much. Actually I quite like "playing" with my shoes, hosiery makes my feet "slippery" so I can slip my high heels off easily, does anyone else do this, or like the sensations, cooled feet, slippery tights etc?

Taking heels off when walking up and down stairs is useful guard against slipping and falling, so I do that, but you're right, outside when its slippy I'll just have to take care...unless anyone knows any surefire ways of making high heels, with their small soles a bit more grippy, (btw I hate those sure-tread pads, I think they look ugly plastered to the soles of your shoes!!)
