i think geminis are great fun. They are not the ones to stay on thier feet for long. They can talk 4r ages exerting themselves out of a idea. They are good laugh and fun though. Really sweet individuals Very Happy

What do you think about the sign Gemini? What experiences have you had with Gemini males and females that led you to your current opinions on people of the sign? What do you like about them? What do you absolutely LOVE about them?

Gemini's make me nervous. They are flighty, not very grounded and i need calmness. I've noticed a physical attractivity, but the nervousness is something i don't like much because i'm a nervous person myself. Oh, what i LOVE ? I must say Gemini is one of my least favourite signs.

hehe, so true, I am Gemini and just like this. I dislike it myself at times!

I would say I was pretty deep. This is probably helped by my religion (or lack thereof) : I flicker between atheist and agnostic. I'm an open-minded sceptic (oxymoron, I know) - in other words I believe anything could be possible, and don't think you can take anything for granted.

Unsuprisingly, I'm generally opposed to stereotypes used outside of humor. I don't feel the need to follow the crowd, aside from protecting myself (I'm shy, so while I'd like to express myself I'm too scared to a lot of the time). Eg: I'm proud of being bisexual, but you won't catch me telling that to anyone I feel I can't trust.

Horocopes are one of my guilty little habits: I try to not believe it, but I can't help myself reading my horoscope in glossy magazines. Doh

Um…….. “…Gemini’s aren’t deep thinkers…. they don’t care about people… they’re no grounded… so many people don’t like them…”

Fortunately it takes all kinds. To one person the enjoyment of movement and quickness of thought (often described as a Gemini trait) is disturbing and indicates a fickle nature. For another the seemingly dependable and fixed individual with dedication to single outcome (perhaps a Libra trait?) may be perceived as boring and narrowly focused by other… etc etc. Its a matter of how you interact with these characteristics and how you interpret them. Underneath your own interpretation the truth may be very different.

To all those who accept and even embrace the differences, to all those who choose respect and love over judgment and prejudice… god bless you.

To not like a trait doesn't mean one doesn't respect a person, it can just mean that you can't be around such types because their traits make you nervous. Think a little before you automatically assume it means one doesn't respect, please! God Bless You.

No automatic assumptions made. We do actually agree on the point you make in your first sentence and you are no doubt one who looks for truth over assumption.

But a point of misunderstanding may exist here. The meanings often assigned in these stereotypes are commonly value laden, and sometimes derogatory, but do not necessarily reflect the truth of the person or group to whom they are assigned. The statements and contrary experiences described in posts above indicate this. Whether intended or not, when this stereotyping occurs and people are judged on the assumptions underlying these stereotypes, a lapse of respect has occurred for the person or group to which it is applied.

It is not for me to make anything out of that since its not really contrary to any point I have made. It is more a question of the values and judgments made of others because of of the traits assigned to them (perceived or real). Since you have not declared these or may not even have presumed any other than to recognize that you are aggravated by some people who act or express things in certain ways, what bone could I possibly have to pick to you? Some folks aggravate me too! In fact I think we might agree on this, just have a different way of expressing/understanding it.

I disagree. Geminis are very deep thinkers. It's just that when they show wild, playful side, which gives the impression that they are fickle, people think they are flighty and such.

But few people see what Gemini is really like. They are deep thinkers and grounded and do care a lot of people's feelings.
Do not talk shite they dont give a F*** about other peoples feelings. Shocked If i met a gemini who cares about other peoples feelings id be totaly shocked. Yes they might be deep thinkers because they are calculating people plan everything out in there calculating little f*cked up head.
