| Is there any way to bypass a company webiste block. My company does not allow us to go and check our hotmail or yahoo emails and they have blocked access to it. Is there any way to bypass that? |

Yes. If you're technically savy and have a home computer (or hosted service) that is _ 24/7 the it would be possible to set up a web proxy/redirector. You access the unbanned home web site and it accesses the banned sites on your behalf. Used to do this for friends in Singapore.
Of course such a deliberate circumvention of company policy is likely to be a dismissable offence. Better to check your mail when you get home. |

| you could also do a websearch for open http proxys to connect through--totally easy and a quick search would instruct you on how to do this. A little bit better would be to tunnel your connection through SSH... your employer is not going to be able to decrypt all your activities with ssh... but the fact that you're using encryption, proxys, tunneling, etc. will make you look suspicious to your IT dept. |

www.webwarper.net and go through there. The IT Department will be suspect, but even they cannot prove a thing as to where you've been. I'd also try going through the link on MSN messenger for your email.
If they have blocked the sites, there's little you can do unobtrusively. |
