i bought this wire less belkin e thernet adapter from pc world, the thing was running smooth for about a week and then my dad put some mad en cryption thing on the router and the thing stopped working.
one day i came in and it would not work and my dad sais that he put some code thing on it to stop people from using our internet connection and since then it wont work if any body knows how to fix it can they please tell me thanks |

Has he set encryption on both ends. The easiest is to use a WEP key, its a simple word which you type in at both ends of the wireless network and only devices with that word entered can connect. If he has and its still not working then default everything back to factory settings and start again. |

Good advice there, Salsito. Starting from scratch is one sure way to make sure what is set how when and why. I'd storngly recommend runnign with encryption though for safety.  |
