I've done it in Eilat, Israel.

Despite all the negative things you see and hear about Israel it is relatively safe there.

Dear Mermaid,

I booked it over there. I know they have a website but I never bothered to write it down or anything. Sorry.

you can do it Monkey Mia, north of Perth in Western australia.
I think you can swim with them or is it just feeding them. Anyway you can be in the water with them. Ask first tho if you make an enquiry.

I did it in Mexico and it was amazing.

You can get a decent package holiday there for a week for a few hundred pounds and then go as an excursion while you're there.

We went to an ecological park where everything was environmentally fiendly and natural and the dolphins were in huge natural pens at the mouth of the sea, so they weren't in small cages or anything else like that that wouldn't appeal to me.

Good Luck

(my session was also videoed which you can then buy which would be a good reminder)

So sorry to hear about your Mom, Mermaid. Sad I hope she gets her wish to swim with the dolphins. It's also been a dream of mine. I've read about people doing this in Hawaii. Visitors can swim with dolphins in a pool or out in the open water. But that might be a pretty expensive trip for her.

You can swim with dolphins in the Oman, near Dubai, in sea, a friend just sent me pics, you just hop on a boat and they are everywhere

Hi Mermaid, there are lots of places you can goto. America, The Red Sea, Malta, Jamaica and Mexico to name but a few.
It seems at the moment that Malta isone of the cheapest around at the moment if you are wanting to spend little as possible. Very Happy

The Mediterraneo, a marine park in Malta, does it - Malta will also probably be cheaper that some of the other destinations.

I wish you mum all the best, and if you ever need anyone to talk to just PM me - my mum has had cancer for 6 years and currently has very little time left, so I know what you are going through.

The Bahamas!!!

Iam sorry to hear about your mums cancer - how long has she got left? I hope you make the most of your time together and make her feel really special.

I know places like Tenerife have aqua parks with Dolphin shows etc.. but with regards to actually being allowed in the water with them I have no idea!

Try California too

Hope you find something that suits - One of my top things to do is swim with dolphins too, Good luck!
