I am surprised and disappointed by some of the comments on this board.

A few have mentioned a medical condition called Male Gynocomastia - which is probably what he has. If it is that, it has nothing to do with his weight, he will have grown breasts at any weight. If he is extremely heavy then it's a question of exercise and eating smaller portions. It has nothing to do with drinking milk. To those who haven't a clue? Don't give advice to someone who obviously needs it.


I don't know anyone who has this issue but I know sports bras are good if he is having pain along with the breasts. As well, surgery can fix it most often and I believe may be covered, depending on where you live.

For now, I say that you should play with these babies! Wooohoo, have a little fun with them. Make him feel that he's the sexiest guy on earth.

Who cares if he has breasts? Hugs to your man, sweetheart.

A word of warning, a few years ago my sexual desires ceased, I'm retired so I just thought it was old age. Then I started growing breasts and about a year later lost all my body hair, at this stage I made an appointment to see my GP who said he would get me to see a specialist.
This was when I found out that I had a Tumour in the Pituitary Gland which hangs just under the brain and amongst other things controls the amount of Testosterone in the body. I now have tablets to take daily and every 2 weeks an injection of Sustanon which is a Testosterone replacement. Keep an eye on your man, if he has breasts he could have a Tumour, I am waiting to have mine removed and it scares me.

My boyfriend has exactly the same problem, hes recently lost a lot of weight but he has bigger breasts than me!!! he went to the doc abt it and they just told him until he loses all exces fat he will still have them.

I applaud to those girlfriend who help their boyfriends having their breast problem. I am single man and proud to have my beautiful breast and small dick cuz God create me as my body existed. That is it!

When I wear sweater, swearershirt, and lossen shirts, I do wear sport bra to hold my breast up as I feel that my chest with sport bra is men flat chest. My sport bra size is sometimes 40 or 42. I never try regular bra on me.

I wear fruit of loom woman panties (low rise brief and high cut brief) to comfort my small dick. I am telling u that I hate men's bried underwear to discomfort my dick. My normal dick size is abt 1 to 1.5 inches. My erection dick is about 4 to 5 inches. I love women's brief to comfort as it did not hurt my penis at all. I don't like women's Thong which discomfort to bother on my butt.

Remember that size of penis is not important. Again that is it!

I am not ashamed to wear woman's briefs . Sometimes I do wear men boxer which depend my mood.

Tell your boyfriends that it is natural to wear sport bra and woman's brief if he feels comfortable.

I agree -- I can't understand the big deal. I have some problem with male breasts -- the doctor has examined me and determined there is a hormone problem, which means I take a hormone supplement. The doctor has also suggested, because it is quite painful, that I undergo a breast reduction. I'm not sure about that so I'm still considering it. In the meanitme because I've had some pain, I've been fitted with a bra, which sure helps. I had to go with a 44 C in order to get the support I needed, and the fitter also recommended a long line style because it had broad straps so they didn't cut in as much on my shoulders. I wear it almost everyday now.

Well I don't have a small dick issue, its a fairly normal 6.5 incher, but when not erect it is quite small and unobtrusive. - as with most men. My testicles are the main issue as far as comfort goes - again as with most men. And I find that knickers and briefs are much more comfortable than underpants. They are lighter and smoother and the stretch fabrics are perfectly suited for movement and support. So I wear womens knickers most of the time.

As for bras. I have a good man's chest with a modest mucle mass and like to wear a b cup bra someimes too. I like the feel of the strap across my back and the shoulders too. A bra does not show under most of my shirts. I don't need underwire support that's for sure and if I feel frisky I do sometimes use a bit of padding to give extra shape.

Frankly whether overweight or not, there are several items of womens clothes that are just so much more comfortable than the usual men's clothes. There is a small lingerie store in my town which carries a great range of slips, some qute plain and some quite well embroidered and lacy. I love wearing slips and camisoles. So silky and comfortable. Much better than a vest in winter.

I don't think I have a brain tumor but I do know that my skin is sensitive and I just love to wear silky things. My girlfriend and I often go shopping for underwear together and choose for each other. Our sex life is very good for it. Snuggling up against one another when we are in slips is a lovely feeling and always leads to warm, loving and torrid sex.

Am I a 'girlyman' as Arnie would say? Maybe I am. But I know myself and like myself as I am. Give me a nice pair of knickers and a cami anyday. Bra too when I feel like it.

I guess I'm in the group that needs and wears a bra on a regular basis. My breast originally developed after treatment for cancer. Although I've had some drug treatment to reduce the size of my chest, it has only had limited success. My doctor suggested "breast reduction" but after reading some of the notes under gynecomastia.org, I've decided to wait a little while, and see if the medication helps. In the meantime, I've been fitted for a bra (42 B) just to help manage the pain and make day to day chores more comfortable

Finally we've got some honest answers to what is a big problem. I've quietly suggested to my boyfriend that he needed to look into some sort of support. I only did this after some months of noticing his "breasts" moving underneath his shirt, and him complaining about chest/shoulder pain. Last week I was in getting fitted for a new bra, and asked the clerk about it. She indicated that she had a number of male customers and would be happy to assist Jamie, if he was interested. I spoke to him and we decided to make an appointment. He was fitted on Friday. It took about 45 minutes. The clerk recommended a sport style bra with broad shoulder straps and a wide band across the back for extra support. He ended up getting 3 bras, size 42 C. He started wearing them that evening. First thing the following morning he put the bra on and by Saturday afternoon the pain and discomfort had gone. Yes when he wears a tight top you can tell he's wearing a bra, but so what. He's realized he needs this type of support, and sure feels better for it.

It is clear from the internet that we men are finally loosening up a bit. There isn't ANYTHING that a women can't wear yet we american men can't handle a shirt buttoned the 'wrong' way! Yes, we men sometimes also have breasts and some of us have found that we can enjoy these sexual receptors. Additionally we can also enjoy the same feel of silky underthings that women can. Hooray for progress! As the women's conference in Bejing outlined, there are lots of alternatives to the definations of men and women and the mere appreciation of ones anatomy or silky things is far down on the list. I'd submit that ones' sexuality is determined by how one thinks, not how one looks.

My wife has just found out that I still love to wear panties, bras, stockings etc. She hates the idea and is 'forcing' me to stop - it is the only basis on which she will continue the marriage (we have 3 children). My dressing originally came to light about 5 years ago, and was a big problem then, and although I said I would stop, I find it very difficult to stop.

I have tried on suspender belts in lingerie shops which was a massive thrill - my wife does not know this and would be absolutely distraught if she found out! She would be horrified and embarrased at the idea of doing any shpping for undies with me (she is intensely sensitive about what other people think - even entering an Anne Summers shop in a neighbouring town would be too embarrassing for her "in case someone saw her")

She won't allow any kind of dressing - in the house or out of it.

Not sure where this will go, but I am trying hard not to buy any new things or to wear anything girlie, but I am finding it unbelievably difficult. It seems odd that something so potentially innocuous (wearing lacy underwear) should a) be such a problem for my wife and b) so hard for me to stop doing

My boyfriend has been wearing a jogging bra most of the time now and if he picks the right shirt it doesn't show. He thought it was stupid at first but now he likes the way it holds his boobs and they don't jiggle around so much, so it's made him feel better about himself. I'm glad I was able to talk him into it because he's not so stressed now and is a lot more fun to be with.

I guess it's true that bras have a purpose and if a guy needs to wear one, he should just do it!

I have been wearing a Sport Bra on/off for a year and now wear it most of the time. It support my 40B boobs and holds them in. I also feel it improves my figure. More men need to wear bras and it should be acceptable as a male garment. I am not all self-conscious about it!

I guess you'd describe me a little over weight, and about three years ago, I started to have pain in my chest. My girl friend suggested that maybe I should consider wearing a bra. She helped me make an appointment, and I went to a local lingere story. I was there for about an hour, and after the clerk measured me she agreed that a bra would help. So I was fitted with a sports bra, a 42 Bwhich I've worn pretty well daily. Late in 2003, I had a second fitting and my size had gone up a little bit to 44C. My last fitting I had to go up a size so am now at a 44D .. . when I tried the new style bra it had much deeper cup and the lower band dug in so the fitter recommend that I try a long line bra. I was fitted in that style just last week. I have three long lines and because they don't cut in they don't show as much are are really very comfortable. They support me well and the bras have really helped with the pain and sagging.
