Basques

I am getting married in August and the wedding is in Cyprus so it is going to be red hot. My bloke is gutted that I wont be wearing a basque on the day. It was the first question he asked, one thing the dress doesnt need one there is no back to it but would it still look ok to wear suzzies and stockings eventhough I will not be wear a basque that is still sexy isnt it. I wasnt going to wear stockings either to tell the truth but because of the fuss hes made I will make an effort with stockings suzzies and gstrings :roll:

I got married in the UK but i had an open lace up back so I couldn't wear a Basque either - didn't stop me investing in a very nice white lacy one which we have always classed as my wedding undies - I just popped out of the room to put it on that night!

I agree with you you will be boiling in the heat of Cyprus, no doublt he will be complaining if he is wearing the full works on the day. Phew heat!

Oh you have to have a basque if not for the day for the night, and you can always use it again and again. Go get one girlfriend you'll make his night if nothing else :wink:

I agree you should have made him wear the basque if he was so keen about you wearing one. That make him understand the things us girls have to do to keep them happy. :evil:

If you don't want to wear one, then don't. Your H2B isn't the one who will have to suffer through it, so he shouldn't be forcing you into it.

Take one for the night so you can get dressed up for the day and dressed up again but just for him at the night.

I agree. I got married in the Carribean and there's no way I could have got through the day wearing a basque!

No Zoe it wasn't, I just told him that if he wanted me to always wear sexy lingerie, then he should for me as a joke. Now he likes it when we both wear basques when making love. A bit strange, but I just think of him as a lesbian lover when he dons the gear on. It gives a bit extra spice to our relationship.
