My baby is 6 months old, and I have been weaning since 19 weeks.

This is a typical days food, could anyone please tell me if this is too much? I have loads of books about weaning, but they are all very hazy about amounts.

Ok, here goes,

Breakfast (6ish) 3 tsp baby rice, 3 ice cubes of apple or pear puree with 3 tbs of formula mixed in. He then has about another 4-5 oz of formula.

8ish 4-6 oz formula

10ish 4-6 oz forumla

Lunch (12ish) 4 ice cubes of vegetable puree, 1 danone yogurt & 4-6 oz of formula.

2ish 4-6 oz formula

Dinner (5ish) 1/2 avocado & 1/2 Banana mashed. 2-3 oz formula.

7ish 7 oz formula

Ok, that is very approximate. He has needed feeding every 2 hours since birth, and the health visitors aren't worried as he is not overweight, he seems tro burn it all off as he doesn't every stop moving about.

Anyway, i'm starting him on meat, dairy etc next week, so basically, more normal foods, and am not sure what to do about his food at dinner time? Should he be having a proper meal at lunchtime and dinner time with yogurt or some other dessert at both?

Could someone please give me some guidance as to what is normal, amount wise, in ice cube measurements?

Thankyou for any help!
