hair or Not

I gotta ask. It seems that a lot of hetero men prefer woman with very well "manicured," or even no pubic hair at all. Is there a general preference among dykes, butch, femmes, etc? Personally, I think that no hair look is a little weird, but hair wild enough to make a toupee out of isn't all that attractive either. Please, do tell.
