When will pregnancy start to show?

How many months/weeks after fertilization will pregnancy(1st pregnancy) start to show?

You'll look more bloated into your second trimester, 3-6 months, it doesent really show till your past the 3rd month, you may look abit bloated but thats it really.

You start ballooning into your 3rd trimester 6-9 months

Its a good thing aswell, because once you start ballooning your back kills and you cant lie on the bed on your side. Its fun though, the first few months are hell, being sick all the time though :wink:

personally it depends on you build... but you don't usually start to show until around 6+ months.

thanks guys ---- in a instance where the person is chubby ---- will the pregnancy show sooner than if slim?

It partially depends on muscle tone. If you have strong abs (not meaning a washboard stomach, as you can have strong abs with a lot of fat over the top) then you will show later than if you don't. A first pregnancy will show later than a second because your stomach muscles haven't been previously stretched. Some people show at 3 months, others show much later.

I am 9 weeks and have a slight bump, I dont know if that is because I am slightly chubby haha and still havent got rid of the belly from the last one! With my other 2 I didnt start showing till after I was 5 months.

I got told by my midwife that i have really strong abs,but i was showing by 11 weeks.Now i'm 30 weeks,and i look and feel like a beached whale!!!Its not fair.Why can't men get pregnant???

I am 11 weeks and already showing.. I am (was) slim build. I asked the midwife and she says everyone is different.

yes... my very first, I was worried when I started to show so quickly as I thought it was just weight gain, however because of all the nausau/sickness I have been off my food so couldn't understand why I was putting on weight?
