I've got a confession to make. I caught my ten year old boy trying on his fourteen year old sister's clothes.

I spanked him.

It felt awful. I'm his mother. Should I have encouraged him to get in touch with his feminine side and talked it through?

You might have overeacted by spanking him IMO,talk to him though because you have to reestablish the trust he has in you otherwise if he has other problems he won't come to you with them.Besides, spanking him makes it a forbidden fruit and forbidden fruit is always sweet.

I used to wear my mother's skirts and high-heeled shoes when I was about 13 but I am not gay. I remember it used to feel good. I was never caught.

A friend of mine with three kids told me she heard a ring on the doorbell one day and it was her son, about eight years old, in a dress and a floppy hat. She said "Ooo! Hello! Who are you?" and he said "Hello. I'm a lady." So she said "How lovely! Would you like to come in for tea?" And he did, and they had a lovely chat.

That's what I call nice parenting.

Children like to dress up! Let them be children. If your son's upset that you smacked him, tell him it's because he was using his sister's things without her permission: don't let him feel he isn't allowed to play dress-up.

I used to wear my mohter's clothes when I was young. I started when I was about 7 or 8. I also wore my aunt's and my sister's clothes. I'm now 51 and still love wearing women's clothes. It does make me feel good. Very Happy

Hi

I think the key here is to think how you would have reacted if it was a 10 year old daughter wearing her 14 year old brothers' clothes?

I am suspecting that she would not have gotten a hiding?

There are a lot of womens clothes that I feel more comfortable in. I wear an all black one piece swimsuit on the beach, because I hate mens trunks. I wear girls gym knickers to go cycling in, because of the freedom of movement they offer and i wear a long sleeved all black leotard to do Pilates in.
There's nothing wrong in it, it's just more comfortable. I would love to be able to wear a skirt in public. after all a skirt is only a pair of shorts with the gussett missing.

well i think you should have fun with it, this one time i caught my boyfriend looking at another woman in affectionate ways so i took him home and forced him to wear all girls clothing and makeup for a whole month, even outside, it was so funny, and today since his punishment is almost up i am going to bind him up in chains, and get a doctor to give him permanent makeup

u should apologize for spanking him. U should support him. by taking him out and buying him some girly things, maybe even dress him up all the way and see if he likes it.

Well the spankings might turn him kinky when he's older, and the dressing could just be a phase it's rather hard to tell at that age.

But if he's crossdressing seriously theres not a lot you can do to stop it if he's that way inclined...you won't turn your son that way but scare him off and he'll no one to confide in and will just learn to treat it as some kind of dirty secret

If you confront him he'll probably just carry on and hide it, but on the other hand I remember a kid a school wanting to play hockey and wear a girls clothes for it and they really got bullied so probably best to make sure he only does it at home for now
