Sanjay Dutt Ordered Back To Prison....
Troubled Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has been ordered to return to jail in India after a short reprieve.
The actor, who was sentenced to six years behind bars for illegal possession of weapons linked to the 1993 Mumbai bombings in India, was released on conditional bail in August (07) because the anti-terror court failed to provide him with a copy of its judgment.
But Dutt returned to jail on Monday (22Oct07).
Chief prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam says, "Sanjay today surrendered in court after receiving the court copy. He is likely to go back to Yerawada jail on Tuesday".
During his temporary release, Dutt has been working on forthcoming movie Kidnapped, one of his six movies in production.
Dutt, 48, was sentenced on 31 July (07) for possessing weapons received from plotters of the bombings which killed 257 people and wounded 800.
But the popular star has always maintained his innocence, claiming he purchased a Kalashnikov assault rifle to protect his family from sectarian violence.
