Ant's Vicious Awakening.... Veteran pop star Adam Ant was once awoken by late Sex Pistol Sid Vicious attacking him.
The British singer, real name Stuart Leslie Goddard, then chased Vicious, real name Simon Ritchie, down the street wielding a hammer.
He says, "My main memory of Sid was being woken up by him one morning in the summer of 1977.
"I opened my eyes and Sid was staring at me with intent. He had this idea I'd been talking behind his back, so he started punching me in the face and kicking me.
"By the time I'd got my senses together, he was gone.
"I went in hot pursuit of him with a hammer tucked up my sleeve. I finally caught up with him. I went up and punched the wall, just missing his head I was just making a point.
"He was very nice to me after that".
