Ashanti And Nelly Engaged?.... Urban couple Ashanti and rapper Nelly are engaged, according to media reports in the US.
Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes Jr and Ashanti, real name Ashanti DOUGLAS, have kept the details of the relationship private since they began dating in 2003.
According to Vibe magazine, the couple became engaged over the Christmas holiday.

i think that is wonderful and i'm happy for them both but i think that ashanti and jarule would have made a better couple!!
