She said: "I've had some fantastic storylines and they continue right up to the point where Kelly leaves.
"My final episode is so good, I can't wait to watch it."
Adele has had many outrageous plotlines during her time on the soap, including Kelly's on/off affair with her stepbrother Scott Windsor.
It will not be Adele's first period away from the show. She originally played Kelly from 1993 until 2000, but left for five years before returning in 2005.
