Franz Ferdinand are to play a series of intimate concerts.
The short UK tour comes prior to the release of their long-awaited third album.
The first date is at York Fibbers on June 21 and later calls at towns and cities including Hull, Cardiff and Yeovil before ending in Leeds on June 29.
The Alex Kapranos-fronted band will play a warm-up show in London on Monday (09.06.08).
The are due to perform in front of 150 fans at Hoxton's Macbeth. Tickets are currently available on a first come, first served basis from London's Rough Trade East store.
Tickets for the full tour are on general sale now.
The 'Take Me Out' hitmakers recently posted footage on their website of their recording sessions in an old Glasgow Town Hall.
