James Morrison: 'I Died Four Times'.... British singer/songwriter James Morrison died four times as a baby, but his mother refused to allow doctors to turn off his life support machine.

The Undiscovered star, who was the surprise recipient of Best British Male Solo Artist at the Brit Awards last month (Feb07), contracted whooping cough when he was only weeks old.

He says, "Technically I died four times. The doctors said there was a 75 per cent chance I'd have brain damage."
