X Factors Journey South And Andy Abraham Battle It Out

21-03-2006 09:26

X-Factor finalists Journey South and Andy Abraham are battling it out for the number one album this Sunday.

Both acts have released debut records in time for Mother's Day and they are flying off the shelves.

Journey South are just ahead in the race for the number one spot with their self-titled album, while former binman Andy is in second place with The Impossible Dream.

"Journey South have got off to a good start and look set to smash the 175,000 mark in their first week of sales but Andy Abraham is also selling well and there's little in it, and the race to be number one looks set to go to the wire.

Journey South, Middlesbrough brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton, and London binman Andy were runners-up to Shayne Ward in the last series of The X-Factor.

Meanwhile Shayne's debut album is set to be released next month.
