Kylie Minogue and Bloc Party lead the nominations for this year's BT Digital Music Awards.
The pop princess is up for the coveted Artist of the Year - for which she faces stiff competition from Radiohead, Coldplay, Leona Lewis and British Sea Power - and Pop Artist of the Year against The Hoosiers, Alphabeat, Sam Beeton and The Ting Tings at the honours, which recognise digital music entertainment and innovation. Her Kylie Konnect site - an online fan community has also been given the nod in the Best Innovation category.
Bloc Party take on Coldplay, Ida Maria, Radiohead and The Futureheads for Best Rock/Indie Artist and are also given the nod for Best Promotional Campaign for the release of their album, 'Intimacy', which was announced three days before its release via a fan webchat, and best online community for their fan site Bloc Party Marshals.
Winners of the 19 categories will be unveiled at a ceremony on October 1 at London's Roundhouse. The ceremony will be broadcast on ITV2 on October 7.
Fans can vote for their favourite shortlisted acts in 16 categories at www.bt.com/dma.. The winner is decided in a 50-50 split of fan votes and judge's choices.
Three People's Choice awards - Best Unofficial Music Site, Best Official Music Site and Best Music Blog - will be unveiled on the night.
