Lily Allen has confirmed her second album is complete.
The 'Smile' singer says she has finished the follow up to 2006's 'Alright Still' and is just awaiting her record company's response to the record.
She told the BBC's Newsbeat programme yesterday (30.06.08): "I'm pretty much sure it's finished and I've got a meeting on Tuesday (01.07.08) with the label, I'm really happy.
"As much as I love them they're just people who give you a loan. I'm not scared of my label."
Lily also revealed she has been writing with The Klaxons frontman Jamie Reynolds.
She said: "We had our studio session and enlightened each other. We did a cover of Joe Jackson's 'Steppin' Out'.
Jamie added: "And there's a wonderful song that we're yet to finish. We've put a bit of work and we're getting somewhere near a flow. It's going alright, we go in on Tuesday to do the second session on it. We've got another two weeks to hopefully come up with something."
