Will Smith is set to star as a pharaoh in an upcoming film.
The 'Hancock' star - who shot to fame in TV sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' - has signed up for 'The Last Pharoah'.
The star - who is also producing the film through his company Overbrook Entertainment - will play Taharqa, the king who defeated an army attempting to take over ancient Egypt.
39-year-old Will is reportedly fulfilling a long-held ambition by taking on the role and is said to have personally asked 'Braveheart' writer Randall Wallace to pen the script.
The busy actor - who is set to reprise his role as Robert Neville in a prequel to 'I Am Legend' - has also recently expressed a wish to star in a Bollywood film.
He said: "I've made a couple of speculative deals in India. We've got some Bolly-Will movies going on!"
