Katy Perry has followed in the footsteps of fellow pop princesses, Sugababes, Spice girls, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Girls Aloud by entering the toy world.
Katy has collaborated with fashion designer Jason Wu, creative director for Integrity’s high-end fashion doll lines, in the creation of a 12 inch-tall version of her, which will be sold worldwide in a limited edition.
This miniaturized version of Katy is immediately recognizable as a signature fashion look, with her belted gold mini dress with accordion-pleated skirt, inspired by her video for I Kissed A Girl.
The transformation of Perry into a doll is a fitting gesture to her earliest fans who saw her guest-starring with several dolls from Integrity’s Fashion Royalty line in the ironic and hilarious video, Ur So Gay.
Jason said: "We are very excited to be working with Katy again. Her fresh attitude, unique style and fun approach to music make her a perfect candidate to become a fashion doll."
