Cosmetic surgeons report a huge increase in the number of people opting for Botox treatments in the run-up to Christmas.
The largest rise in Botox treatments are in Manchester and Leeds, according to the Harley Medical Group, which has 10 clinics across England.
The Harley Medical Group has reported a 150% increase in injectable treatments in the first two weeks of December compared to the same time last year, with the majority of patients having the treatment are women aged 30-45.
Treatments such as Botox , Restylane and Collagen are always very popular at Christmas, but according to the medical group this year they've been a total sell-out.
The view is that with many industries promote a youthful image and the staff see the Christmas party season as an ideal time to show off their potential to their bosses or clients.
Botox parties and lunch hour ‘make-overs’ have also helped to fuel the boom of quick and easy injectable procedures during 2004.
