Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen are the stars of a collection of nude photographs expected to sell for £1.5millin in an auction this week.
They will be joined by an original image of Brigitte Bardot which is also among the 135 being sold by German-born collector Gert Elfering at Christie's New York next month.
“The stylised, idealised female figure occupies a privileged place in Elfering’s aesthetic," the auction house told the sun.
The images of Kate and Gisele were taken by Irvin Penn in black and white and are expected to go under the hammer for £15,000 to £20,000 each on 10th April.
Some of the prints from the collection went on display yesterday at Christie’s in London ahead of the sale.
Just this weekend topless pictures of Kate Moss taken by Heidi Slimane were printed in a French newspaper
