Amy Winehouse Offers Dress for Charity Sale

Amy Winehouse, Paris Hilton and Renee Zelweger are among the celebrities offering dresses for an online charity auction today.

Over 27 beautiful dresses by renowned designers including Dolce & Gabbana and Armani, have been donated by A-listers from film and music worldwide and will be sold to raise money for the Lavendar Trust and celebrate the launch of the Katherine Heigl's new film 27 Dresses.

Paris is giving up a gorgeous gold sequin mini dress, Renee is offering a a beautiful sparkly floaty chiffon gown and Amy has put up one of her signature tight fitting corset dresses for the auction.

Also Kylie has offered a dazzling white John Galliano dress worn to Cannes 2007, Danni Minogue a silver full length halter neck gown worn to Kylie’s White Diamond Premiere and many other dresses are up for auction from stars of the big screen including Maggie Gyllenhaal, model Heidi Klum, the Sugababes and Strictly’s Alesha Dixon.

The dresses will all be modelled in a fashion show at London's Sketch tonight before making their way into some lucky bidders' wardrobes.

From the screenwriter of The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses centres on Jane (Heigl), an idealistic, romantic and completely selfless yet single woman who is constantly being invited to be a bridesmaid for all her loved- up friends.

After collecting 27 dresses (hence the title) from all the weddings she's attended Jayne is fed up of never being the bride so when younger sister Tess captures the heart of Jane’s boss – with whom she is secretly in love – Jane begins to re-examine her 'always-a-bridesmaid…' lifestyle

The auction goes live on ebay tonight at 7pm with dresses being auctioned off at three day intervals until the release of the highly anticipated romantic comedy ’27 Dresses’ on 27th March marking the end of the auction.

All proceeds of the dress auction will go to the Lavender Trust which funds Breast Cancer Care’s support and information for women in their twenties and thirties affected by breast cancer.
