Spain's Telma Ortiz - sister of Crown Princess Letizia - has lost a court battle over her privacy.
Telma had made a bit for an injunction against 50 media outlets, asking for the media from filming or taking pictures of her, but a judge rejected the request at the case in Toledo.
Judge Maria Lourdes Perez Padilla said a restraining order would be "legally unviable" because Telma and her partner Martin Llop, were in the limelight, even if they claimed otherwise.
The judge ordered the couple to pay undisclosed court costs.
Telma argued she had repeatedly had her privacy invaded and wanted a blanket ban on news organisations publishing photos or footage of her, except when she makes rare appearances at official functions as the crown princess' sister.
Telma's sister, Letizia, took on her role in the royal family when she married Felipe, Prince of Asturias, in 2004.
