Britain's Queen Elizabeth has honoured people who helped out during last summer's floods.
Four people were given MBEs for their actions during severe floods that hit Sheffield last year.
Andy Wilson, a 39-year-old gas man, was honoured after saving a bed-ridden elderly man's life when a power shortage hit.
Andy managed to restore power to the pensioner's life support equipment after being asked for help by the man's wife.
Annette Senior, an emergency planning officer, was given the MBE for her role co-ordinating Rotherham Council's response to the disaster.
Daniel Bailey was honoured for services to flood rescue as part of his work for Sheffield National Grid.
Andrea Shaw, assistant control manager for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, also got an MBE for taking charge of the control room when the floods hit.
