Another must have exercise DVD February 25, 2008 F. M. Curnow (Worcs, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is another of the best on the market. I like to do this one about every other day (I think of it as my 'easy' day and alternate it with something like Kirsty Gallagher or Nell McAndrew where I really work up a sweat) as I can do this workout, feel I've done some really good work but not have worked up enough of a sweat to need a shower afterwards. The balance of toning and aerobics is very good and the abs section particularly good.
Burns and Firms! January 18, 2007 littlemisspractical (Brighton) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This DVD is really easy to follow and has good results. The thing I like most about it is the way there are lots of different little chunks of things you can do from the aerodance to the boxing to the 'just abs' which keeps things interesting and means if you get tired you've only got a little while longer to keep going.
Keep fit with Kym! December 30, 2006 K. Poole (Telford, UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This DVD is the best fitness dvd i have, Its made me really enjoy keeping fit.
Kym presents this DVD with Paul Younane, who she has been training with since Hear'say, His methods really work because Kym looks great.
Its well presented and lots of fun to do too and its designed for anyone to do in the home.. Its a great DVD!
First Timer January 22, 2007 M. Phipps (Bristol, England) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've just done this workout for the first time and oh, my, god!!! I was sweating after the Warm Up!!! As it was my first time I just did the Fat burning and Sofa Tone Sections and that was enough for me.
Some good advice in amongst the workout but at times not as informative as I would have liked, certain exercises weren't explained so you were unable to start doing them until a full rep had been done and others were hard to follow as you had to lie on the floor to do them, admittedly I was doing it in my bedroom and was behind the bed but even so it would be hard to keep the same pace as you would need to watch the exercise first.
Don't get me wrong I'm sure that once you know what you're doing it will be easier to follow and I'm sure I'll get there but for now I'm going with 4 stars as it's a great workout with some difficulties... But I'd definitely recommend it!
A good workout but DVD needs some tweaking February 21, 2007 Naj (London United Kingdom) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
A good workout, but I want to know how I can keep my hair and (not so heavy) eye make up in place like Kim. She didn't have a hair out of place - not a good ad for a 'work out'.
Paul may be an ex rugy player and a physio, but is he a personal trainer? When doing squats Kim had her knees over her feet, I've always been told that I should see my toes when doing squats, otherwise injuries can occur.
Where were the stretches for arms? There was quite a lot of arm excercises (in fact a hell of a lot) but no stretches. Those new to keep fit wouldn't know to do these - a very important point missed here. As I say it needs tweaking, and it's not for those new to keeping fit or to aerobics as excercises are not explained properly, the rate is fast, and some positions are wrong. I skipped the 'exclusive interview' and I thought we'd be given more foot tips.
