First Class Production February 12, 2009 Robin Smith (Bedford, England) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
If you enjoyed the series you will love this. A first class review of the entire series week by week in excellent picture and sound quality. The emphasis is on the dancing including the professional only dances and the group dances.
A very thorough job. Your best bits should be included somewhere here.
Missing Strictly already February 10, 2009 Twinkle Toes 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
In the absence of Strictly from our screens at the moment this DVD fills the gap nicely. All the high points from Strictly 6 are captured here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Roll on series 7, in the meantime, keep dancing!

Very Good Value! February 28, 2009 C. Harrison (Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
Series Six was perhaps not the most entertaining, so far (what ever happened to the announced issue of the Series Five DVD?), but you certainly get a lot for your money.
The first disk contained highlights of the pro/celebrity dances throughout the series, with the semi-final and final dances in full. We have to live with the BBC camera style: whirling around and around, and frequently not showing the dancers feet, or cutting away, while something interesting was about to happen, to glance at a guest b-list celeb with a free ticket to the show (as rare as hen's teeth, unless you are a b-list celeb - and there are no shortage of them). However, the picture and sound quality are very good, and the content - well, everyone knows what to expect - is entertaining, as ever.
The second disk has the groups dances and the pro dances, together with some additional bits and pieces. You get around five hours of content, in total, and at the current price, it is undoubtedly good value.
Now then, BBC, what about the Series Five DVD?
