Product Description Some said that the 2008 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP couldn't be topped?how wrong they were. From the season opener in Albert Park to the first twilight race at the new Yas Marina circuit of Abu Dhabi, the 2009 season had it all. A new set of regulations would rock the established order, while a new team would storm to two world titles in their debut season.
Jenson Button dominated the early part of the season, taking six wins from the first seven races. After recording Red Bull Racing's first victory, Sebastian Vettel emerged as Button chief rival. However, the biggest threat would come from across the Brawn GP garage. The veteran of the sport, Rubens Barrichello took up the challenge of taking on Button in the race for the title. Mark Webber finally broke through into the ranks of Grand Prix winners with sterling performances at the Nurburgring and Interlagos, while Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton brought Scuderia Ferrari and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes back to winning ways after a turbluent starts to the season.
Featuring full 5.1 Digital Dolby Digital Surround Sound and exclusive features with Brawn GP, BMW Sauber and Panasonic Toyota Racing, it's the perfect gift for Christmas.

Best F1 Review yet December 31, 2009 Dean Wigmore 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This seasons review packs the best F1 season for many years into over 4 1/2 hrs over 2 discs. There is plenty of onboard footage as a seperate extras package, and even the option of watching each race without commentary. There is also an extended piece on the "lie gate" affair, with pit to driver conversations with Lewis and his team proving they did lie to the FIA. Felipe's accident is also given extra coverage. All in all this is a must have for all F1 fans to add to their collection.
Formula 1 August 2, 2010 Mr. D. Mcloughlin (UK) Great dvd, I just hope Jenson can retain his title, he has deserved it for a long time, but never had a good enough car until now.
Decent F1 review but partially flawed January 15, 2010 Marius Liesdek (Amsterdam Netherlands) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The coverage of this F1 year spread over 2 dvds is very complete. The makers of this review really took their time and I think that this is a very complete summary of all the interesting things that happened on and off the track. Sometimes I thought it even took a bit too much time for some interviews and I started wondering about when we would go back to the racing.
On the technical side, this dvd set (2 discs) is decent: it looks and sounds better than on cable tv. However, I am still surprised that the subtitles are still missing. Especially for the hearing impaired, this must be very disappointing. It is also a big annoyance to me to be honest, because your surroundings have to be quiet in order to hear the commentaries. The sound (dolby digital) seems more clear to me than previous years, so at least they are bothering to improve some technical specs of the dvds.
In all in all, it is a must-have for every F1 fan, because of the fantastic and extensive coverage, but be aware of the lack of language options if you're a foreigner whose english is not very good. I hope that the FIA is considering to bring out dvds (and blu rays) with multiple languages and substitles some day in the future, but I am not counting on it as long as the people who are in control are british (e.g. Bernie Ecclestone).
