'EastEnders' star Rudolph Walker can't wait for John Bardon's return to the soap.
Walker, who plays roguish Patrick Trueman in the show, is delighted that his on-screen partner in crime, Jim Branning, will be returning to the soap in the summer.
Walker said: "Oh, I really can't wait to have John back. It'll be so fantastic, and I've been looking forward to it. Patrick and Jim have had some classic moments together so far, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be more to come!"
Bardon was forced to take an extended break from filming following a stroke in June 2007.
Walker also revealed he loves playing Patrick, and has no plans to leave unless he stops having fun.
He said: "My motto is - don't do anything unless you're enjoying it!"
The actor joined 'EastEnders' in 2001 and his character is currently playing surrogate-granddad to teenagers Chelsea and Libby Fox, a role which is about to cause him a lot of problems.
