Liz McClarnon's Hot New Show

Liz McClarnon is to become a TV presenter.

The former Atomic Kitten star, who won 'Celebrity Masterchef' in 2008, is to front 'Hotter Than My Daughter'.

The 28-year-old singer said: "When I read the title of the programme, I knew exactly what the show would be about - mothers who think they are hotter than their daughters."

The weekly show follows different mother-daughter pairings, who both think the other have the wrong image - mothers who dress to young, daughters who dress too old - and viewers vote for who they want to have a make-over.

When I read the title of the programme, I knew exactly what the show would be about - mothers who think they are hotter than their daughters.

However, the re-stylings haven't gone down well with everyone.

Liz said: "I'm one of those people who is really grateful for everything but some of the people we've met and made over haven't been impressed. I always think, 'You look so much better', I just don't understand.

"While trying not to be cruel, some have been completely delusional. I'm not saying that in a nasty way but just being honest."

The star has a number of other projects in the pipeline.

She revealed: "I've got loads coming up. Apart from my album, I'm in talk with TV bosses to launch my own cookery show. It will be along the lines of 'Can't Cook Won't Cook'. But nothing has been finalised, I'm in the talking stage."

Liz is the second Atomic Kitten star to front a makeover programme - former bandmate Jenny Frost currently presents BBC series 'Snog, Marry, Avoid'.
