Meat Loaf's Opera Feud

Meat Loaf is convinced Alan Titchmarsh is ignoring him on 'Popstar to Operastar'.

The 'Bat Out Of Hell' singer claims the show's host snubs him and always asks the other judges - Katherine Jenkins, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen and Rolando Villazon - for their opinion over him.

The 62-year-old rocker was furious when Alan cut him off mid-flow during last Friday's show (29.01.10) and started talking to fellow host Myleene Klass.

He tells Meat Loaf this but he doesn't seem to buy it

So out of the shot of the camera, Meat Loaf wrote "PROTEST" on a sheet of paper before waving it at Alan.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was all the camera crew could do to ensure it wasn't in shot. Meat Loaf seems convinced there is a conspiracy and that Alan is avoiding him.

"But Alan's just doing what the producers tell him in the earpiece. He tells Meat Loaf this but he doesn't seem to buy it. It makes things very tense."

This is not the first time the pair have clashed.

In 2006, Meat Loaf appeared on 'The Paul O'Grady Show', which Alan was hosting as a stand-in, but they didn't get on.
