Tom Jones is recording this year's Comic Relief song.
The Welsh singer has teamed up with Gavin and Stacey stars Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones to release 'Barry Islands In The Stream' - a comedy version of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers song 'Islands In The Stream'
Ruth said: "Recording with Tom Jones, it doesn't get any better than that. It is really good fun. We were thrilled and honoured."

He said: "I have done my bit. I've put myself out and went to Las Vegas and recorded a single with Tom Jones which was very good of me! Tom Jones, b****y hell, fantastic.
"We maybe in the middle of a crunch credit, but never has it been a more important time to show generosity."
The single also features Bee Gee Robin Gibb and is released on March 8.
Girl group The Saturdays have also lent their vocal chords to the Comic Relief cause are by recording a version of Depeche Mode's 'Just Can't Get Enough', released on March 3.This year's Red Nose campaign features three different noses, each bearing a comic face.Fashion designer Stella McCartney has also designed a collection of T-shirts with all proceeds going to the charity.Red Nose Day 2009 takes place on Friday March 13.
