Charlie Brooks' daughter tried to stop her from going back to playing "horrible" Janine Evans in 'EastEnders'.
The actress - who will be returning to the BBC soap as the scheming villain later this year - revealed how three-year-old Kiki cannot bear to watch her mum getting involved in the nasty storylines.
Charlie said: "Kiki said, 'Oh, Mum, you're not going to play that horrible Janine, are you?'
"She doesn't always like to watch what I do. When I appeared in 'Robin Hood', she ran out of the room because I was in a big sword fight and she was scared!"
Kiki said, 'Oh, Mum, you're not going to play that horrible Janine, are you?'
The star is set to earn £100,000 a year for her return as Janine, who was last seen in April 2008 when she went back to Albert Square briefly for her father Frank Butcher's funeral.
She added: "I've always been interested to know what Janine's been up to, and it felt like the right time for me. It's also nice to have some financial security."
But the 27-year-old said she expects plenty more abuse from the public when Janine is back on the screen.
