Stephanie Waring is pleased she can show another side to her 'Hollyoaks' alter-ego.

The actress - who plays conniving Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap - is starring in this week's 'Hollyoaks Later' and is glad she has been given the chance to explain why the mother-of-one behaves as she does.

She's always been really gobby and says what she thinks

She told digitalspy.co.uk: "From my point of view we see a real person finally in Cindy - we see who she really is and how she really feels which has always been a mask for her in the normal 'Hollyoaks'. She's always been really gobby and says what she thinks. She uses her outer image to hide who she really is inside and in 'Later' we discover she's just a normal girl who wants to find love and security and have a secure life with her daughter and have a family - she's found that in Tony."

In the 'Hollyoaks Later' viewers will see Cindy's wedding to Tony Hutchinson put on hold after Cindy's lover Darren Osbourne sends the groom into the middle of nowhere.
