Heavy Bleeding

Bex writes:

I have been on my period for ages now and it's really really heavy.

It keeps running down my legs and I change my sanitry towels very often.

I keep getting clots aswell really big ones, and they wont stop. Is it something I should be worried about it?

It doesn't hurt or anything but I'm just really worried something might be wrong. Please please help.

Yin's Answer

Bex, you need to see a doctor. It is only medical professionals who can really advise you on things like this.

Book an appointment and go to see your GP. They will be able to diagnose your problems and give you the appropriate advice and treatment.

Please go sooner rather than later.

Yang's Answer

Definately see your GP. It may not be serious but the chances are that it will need medical advice.

If you don't feel comfortable with a male doctor then request a female doctor.

Heavy bleeding can be dangerous and cause light headedness and dizziness. Make sure you see a doctor.
